Factors we intend to review
When provider comparisons are published, LendLoan intends to evaluate information that helps consumers understand price, fit, access, and transparency. Depending on the product and information available, factors may include:
- Disclosed APR ranges and whether rates are fixed or variable
- Origination fees and other consumer-facing charges
- Minimum and maximum loan amounts
- Available repayment terms
- Eligibility information supplied by the provider
- Geographic availability
- Funding and payment features described by the provider
- Clarity and completeness of consumer disclosures
- Provider transparency and the date information was last verified
Verification and updates
Product terms can change. Future listings should identify when material data was last reviewed and direct consumers to verify current terms with the provider before applying. LendLoan will not invent rates, approval odds, availability, rankings, or offer details.
Commercial relationships
LendLoan may receive compensation when visitors click certain partner links or take qualifying actions with a provider or marketplace. Compensation may affect which providers or offers appear and their placement unless a specific page states otherwise. Sponsored or compensated relationships will be disclosed to consumers.
What methodology does not mean
Inclusion will not be an endorsement or guarantee that a product is appropriate, available, or affordable for a particular person. LendLoan is not a lender and does not make approval or credit decisions. Consumers should compare written provider disclosures and consider alternatives before borrowing.
